Live Life, Love Life and Profit From It!
Are you living the life of your dreams? Why Not? It's cliché but "What would you be doing if money was no object?" Statistics say nearly 70% of you wouldn't be doing what you are right now!
So, what is preventing you from following your passion?
Some people have yet to discover what they are passionate about. This is a common problem. I didn't know what I wanted to do so I approached my mentor and told him so. He responded, "Well, give me a list of a few of the things that make you angry!" This was a very easy question and I smiled as I started to list everything that was wrong with the world.
He waited until I was done with my gigantic list of wrongs in the world, and then simply responded, "Okay. Go fix it!"
The question had done exactly what he intended. I realized there were plenty of issues I was passionate about!
My retort came quickly, "Yes but I can't make money at this or that!"
He quipped back, "Says who? Just you? Have you researched the topic, or are you just presuming that you can't make money doing that?"
"I don't know anything about marketing," I thought. "How in the world can I support my family doing that?"
And that is exactly where most of us leave our dream; broken and shattered because we don't know how part one of the dream works!
It's not about knowing marketing. It's not about being a marketing genius, although that helps.:) It's about knowing what you DON'T know, and setting out to know it! Just because you don't know something today doesn't mean tomorrow you can't know it.
Isn't this your life? You only live once and something as simple as not knowing how to do something is going to keep you from doing what you love? No way, Jose. Take that bull by the horns, baby, and run with it.
I will be the first person to say everyone can use a helping hand in learning how to profit in pursuing their passion. I needed help, and a lot of it! Most people need a mentor, someone they can trust and work with. This mentor should have experience and be willing to teach their area of expertise! You are looking for your own Obi-Wan!
Are you ready to make changes? Are you willing to try something new, something different that will help you love life? There are many wonderful people in the online community that are willing to provide guidance. Are you ready to pursue your passion? All it takes is for you to get the ball going!
The sad truth is… most people are merely "entertaining" the idea of being successful and nothing more. As soon as requirements are given people tend to peddle back into their comfort zone; a world of dead end jobs, severe debt and meaningless living.
Don't hold yourself down. Reach outside yourself and live a life of joy!
