Night in Paris

• Many tourists appreciate the sparkling lights that fill the "city of lights" after dark. Create a romantic atmosphere at your prom by adopting a night in Paris theme. Make a glowing Eiffel Tower the center of your prom decorations. Craft a structure using metal, cardboard or plastic, or create an outline of the Eiffel Tower against a dominant wall in the prom space. Decorate this Eiffel Tower copy with twinkle lights and create a net of lights across the ceiling, recreating twinkling stars. Use reflective surfaces to replicate the reflective waters of the Seine. Decorate walkways, such as those leading to the snacks table with paper cobblestones, and line them with old-fashioned street lights.
  
  

Springtime in Paris

• Make your prom floral and frilly by selecting a springtime in Paris theme. Cover a wall with paper and create a mural featuring the Eiffel Tower with a bright blue sky behind it. Make heavy use of flowers in your decor, creating tissue paper flowers and placing them on any available surface. Notre Dame Nights

• Center your prom around the architecturally significant Notre Dame cathedral. Decorate the space in grays that recall the stone hues of this structure. Search through pictures of the building for patterns to replicate. Recreate patterns with paper or cardboard, placing them along walls, surrounding snack tables or creating archways. Set up a perfect place for pictures by blowing up an image of the cathedral and allowing couples to stand in front of it for their photos.

• The French Riviera is a string of Mediterranean Sea coastline that attracts sun lovers. Make the blue waters of this coast central to your prom decor Use sand and shells for table decor, creating centerpieces featuring candles nestled in these beach elements. Cover all of the prom surfaces in different shades of blue, creating the feel of a cool ocean space. Blow up pictures of some beautiful Riviera scenes and paper the walls with them, giving your guests a glimpse of this picturesque part of France. Select favors with a decidedly beach feel, such as bottles of sunscreen and sunglasses.
