- 1). Listen to the entire message that plays before you leave the message. Some automated greetings tell you if there is a menu you can access.
- 2). Try pressing the "#" or "1" key after you leave the message. If you pressed the right key, the voicemail system takes you into a menu.
- 3). Listen to the menu options, and select the option to erase and rerecord the message.
