• Nissan has developed six different trims for the 2012 Sentra: Sentra 2.0, Sentra 2.0 S, Sentra 2.0 SR, Sentra 2.0 SL, Sentra SE-R and Sentra SE-R Spec V. The 2.0-liter, 16-valve engine in the Sentra 2.0, Sentra 2.0 S, Sentra 2.0 SR and Sentra 2.0 SL models generate 140 horsepower at 5,100 revolutions per minute and 147 pound-foot of torque at 4,800 rpm. However, the SE-R model has a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder,16-valve engine that produces 177 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 172 pound-foot of torque at 2,800 rpm. The 2012 Sentra SE-R Spec V also has a 2.5-liter engine, and generates 200 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 180 pound-foot of torque at 5,200 rpm.

• The Sentra 2.0, 2.0 S, 2.0 SL have an overall length of 179.8 inches with a wheelbase of 105.7 inches. The Sentra 2.0 SR, SE-R and SE-R Spec V models have a 180.1-inch overall length with a 105.7-inch wheelbase. The Sentra measures 70 inches wide and 59 inches in high.
  
  

Sentra Fuel Economy

• Each Sentra model holds 14.5 gallons of gas. The models with a 2.0-liter engine get 24 miles per gallon in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. The Sentra SE-R model receives 24 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway, while the SE-R Spec V provides 21 mpg in town and 28 mpg on the highway.
  
  

Altima Performance

• Nissan makes the Altima in four different trims: 2.5, 2.5 S, 3.5 SR and a hybrid. The Altima 2.5 and Altima 2.5 S come equipped with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine that produces 175 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 180 pound-foot of torque at 3,900 rpm. The 2012 Altima 3.5 SR has a 3.5-liter, 24-valve V-6 engine that generates 270 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 258 pound-foot of torque at 4,400 rpm. The hybrid comes with a 2.5-liter 16-valve engine that produces 158 horsepower at 5,200 to 6,000 rpm and 162 pound-foots of torque at 2,800 to 4,800 rpm. In addition, the hybrid vehicle has a system that produces 198 horsepower.
  
  

Altima Dimensions

• Altima models except for the 3.5 SR measure 190 inches long, 70 inches wide and 58 inches in height; the Altima 3.5 SR has a 57-inch height. The wheelbase is 109 inches and has a front and rear track width of 61 inches.
  
  

Altima Fuel Economy

• The fuel tank holds up to 20 gallons of gas. Both the Altima 2.5 and 2.5 S receive up to 23 mpg in town and 32 mpg on the highway, while the Altima 3.5 SR gets 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. Additionally, the hybrid touts 33 mpg in the city and on the highway.
