How to Apply to USF

    • 1). Fill out an official application for admission. Create a username and password to access the university's electronic application. In the application, you will fill out personal information, education history, standardized testing scores and choose which school in the USF system you would like to apply for.

    • 2). Review your application, sign it and send it to USF Admissions. Use "Preview" to check your application for any inaccuracies or misspellings. Providing accurate information to university is crucial.

    • 3). Submit a $30 application fee or an ACT or SAT Reason Test application waiver. The application fee is non-refundable, so be confident in your decision to apply to the university.

    • 4). Send your high school transcripts to USF's admissions office. The university uses your high school grades to determine your academic standing. High school transcripts can be acquired from your high school guidance counselor's office.

    • 5). File your ACT or SAT Reasoning Test scores with USF. Send at least one writing score from either test to USF. The university uses these standardized tests, along with your grades and personal information, to determine acceptance.

    • 6). Send USF General Education Development (GED), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) results, if applicable. The school considers these test results valuable to their application process.

    • 7). Submit your application materials by the university's deadline. USF accepts applications until April 15, their final application deadline.
