By beating six-time hot dog champ Takeru Kobayashi of Japan, Joey "Jaws" Chestnut is the biggest star of competitive eating.

At the 2007 Nathan's Coney Island hot dog championship, Chesnut, a 230-lb. San Jose resident, inhaled an eye-popping 66 hot dogs and buns in 12 minutes -- a new world's record. The No. 1 ranked eater, born on Nov. 25, 1983, holds more records than you can shake a fork at. They include: Fried asparagus (8.6 pounds in 10 minutes); chicken Wings (241 wings at Philadelphia Wing Bowl; and grilled cheese sandwiches (47 grilled cheese sandwiches in 10 Minutes)
