In the kitchen of the Brady Pub, Lucas quickly leaves after seeing a breathless Sami cradle EJ. She is relieved when EJ wakes up. He smiles and tells her how beautiful she is. She fumes how a near death experience doesn’t change him a bit. EJ refers to Lucas as a bad habit. “You’re like a dose of bad medicine that I have to take because my family needs to live,” she counters. She affirms that she loves Lucas.

“Let’s not forget he’s about to become your ex-husband, shall we?” snarks EJ. Sami points out that it’s only legally. He attempts to touch her, but she lays down the law and states there won’t be any touching between them. He suggests taking her to the hospital while he proceeds to go to the TV station. Elvis then tries to help her up, but she deters him away.

At the TV station, we see a brief replay of Andre holding a gun to Hope’s head and Bo demanding let her go. Stefano urges Andre to listen to Bo. “It’s a new war Stefano, with a much prettier face,” taunts Andre. “Let my wife go!” shouts Bo, who then chases after the duo. Roman orders the officers on hand to arrest Steve and read him his rights. Stefano chastises Steve for getting Hope killed in the process of retrieving Roman.

Bo follows Andre and Hope to the rooftop and tells the two officers to go make sure all the exits are covered, since he’s prepared to handle the situation. “Let the games begin,” Andre says wickedly. He points his gun at Bo as the handsome Brady detective inches closer.

Bo cautions Andre against jumping. Andre scoffs how Stefano proclaimed EJ as his rightful heir. A fearful Hope urges Andre to change Stefano’s mind, trying to assure him that Stefano will give him anything if he ends the vendetta. Bo points out that Stefano is an old man and all he wants is peace. Andre continues to taunt Bo about killing Hope. Bo warns him that if Andre kills his wife, then Bo will kill him. Andre inches closer to the edge and threatens to jump. Bo uses his hostage negotiation tactics and plays on Andre’s emotions, rehashing how Stefano used him. Bo offers to help Andre with payback and urges him to testify against Stefano and thus reveal what Stefano forced him to do, then Andre will walk a free man. Andre refers to Bo as a liar just like Stefano, then backs away. Bo insists that Andre has a choice. “How shall the lady die? With a bullet, or with a fall?” taunts Andre as Hope bellows. Bo threatens to put a bullet in Andre’s brain. A frightened Hope urges him to do it. Bo implores Andre not to jump off the roof and assures Fancy Face she’ll be okay. “When push comes to shove, he does not want to die. And push has just come to shove,” previews Bo. He then shoots Andre, who falls off the roof. Hope slips and Bo races for her, calling out her name. He helps Hope back onto the roof and they share a tight embrace along with the kiss.

Chelsea suggests they stick to Plan A and just live in a dorm. Stephanie despises the idea of sharing a bathroom with fifteen girls. A sensible Chelsea reminds Steph of the real reason they’re going to college: to get an education. She claims they don’t have any guys to put on the auction block yet, then Max walks in. Chelsea invites Max to take a seat, but he claims he can’t since he’s there to get a job. “Another one of Jeremy’s greatest hits,” remarks Chelsea. Stephanie then declares that she and Jeremy are totally over. “Good for you,” replies Max. The ladies demur how they need volunteers to spend the night with hot coeds. Max implores them to stop talking in riddles. Chelsea finally spills that she and Stephanie are putting together a charity auction. Steph hints how he could rake in some serious money for them as soon as their future sorority sisters get a look at his assets. They give him the scoop that the proceeds go towards a shelter for battered women. Max says he doesn’t want to put his heart through a meat grinder again, then walks off. Chelsea advises Steph to give Max the nod, then he’s totally hers.

Max later sits down with Adrienne and persuades her to give him a bartending job. He claims he could work for his parents at the pub, but he doesn’t want the handout. She agrees to hire him, admitting that her hubby and kids have been all over her about her hours. Besides, the girls who frequent the bar could use a nice change of pace to look at.

Chelsea and Stephanie later discuss their auctioning plan. Steph suggests they could offer free beer and pizza to guys, then hit them up with the auctioning. Chelsea isn’t sold on this, since they need money to pay for the beer and pizza. Stephanie claims they can take it out of the auction money. Stephanie suspects they other girls rushing will be jealous of their auction idea.

Adrienne later serves Stephanie and Chelsea beer. Steph asks her aunt what she thinks of their bachelor auction idea. Adrienne declares that she likes it so much that she’s going to donate the place with free beer and pizza. Steph is ecstatic, but Chelsea claims they can’t accept it. They are interrupted when the Cheatin’ Heart phone rings. The gals disagree about Adrienne’s offer. Chelsea says Adrienne can’t afford to offer them free goods, but Steph chalks it up as smart business. Adrienne then insists she needs to talk to her niece in private. Max approaches Chelsea and they briefly discuss his new job. Steph then arrives back at the table and announces that she needs to leave, revealing that her dad went psycho at the TV station.
