How to Replace a Headlight Bulb in a 2000 Honda Accord

- 1). Open the hood of your Honda, using the hood prop to keep it open.
- 2). Use the flashlight to illuminate the back of the headlight that needs replacing.
- 3). Remove the radiator coolant reservoir by sliding it up and out of the way. The hose will remain attached. The coolant reservoir is an opaque plastic container. The cap will be labeled 'engine coolant.'
- 4). Squeeze the electrical supply and pull firmly to remove. The electrical supply is a black plug on the back of the headlight assembly.
- 5). Grasp the bulb and turn counterclockwise to remove.
- 6). Using a soft cloth, position the new bulb and turn clockwise to secure.
- 7). Reattach the electrical supply and test the new headlight bulb.
- 8). Replace the radiator coolant reservoir and close the hood.
