Rocking Horse Plans - Why Settle For Junk When You Can Have an Heirloom?
As with every successful woodworking project, if you want to make a great wooden rocking horse you need to start with a set of rocking horse plans.
There is simply no better starting point when you are after success with your new project.
If you're like me, a run of the mill generic toy just won't do.
Only the ultimate horse is good enough for my kid! There's absolutely no way for me to justify taking some standard woodworking plan that everyone uses and give my child the same thing thousands of other kids have.
I refuse to settle for the generic rocking horse you get from a free online plan.
Not only are they a dime a dozen, but the quality leaves a ton to be desired.
You don't want to give your child something like that, do you? I wouldn't even consider it myself.
I even built one from a free plan and it actually collapsed when the neighbor child started rocking on it! So since we have agreed that neither one of us will settle for less than perfect, what do we do now? The answer is actually quite straight forward.
Invest in a high quality set of rocking horse plans.

Ideally you would look for several plans to choose from as that allows you to take design aspects from each plan and create a unique plan for yourself.
Being able to pick and choose between the best plans is a great place to be.
Once you have the perfect set of project plans to start from, don't forget to add any personal touches you feel like and before you know it you'll have the family heirloom you've always wanted!
