Danell Leyva (USA)


Leyva was the 2011 US national champ. He had a scary crash at worlds and couldn’t finish his high bar routine, but regrouped in event finals for the parallel bars gold. He is a potential all-around medalist at the Olympics.

John Orozco (USA)

The young American finished fifth in his first world all-around competition, but qualified in second behind Uchimura, showing the big potential he has for future meets. Orozco won three US national all-around titles as a junior gymnast.

Jonathan Horton (USA)


Horton is a 2008 Olympic veteran, and a two-time US national champ. He won the silver on high bar in 2008, and could medal there, and possibly in the all-around as well.

Zou Kai (China)

Zou was a triple gold medalist (team, floor and high bar) at the Beijing Games, and has won two of the last three high bar golds at worlds. He isn't an all-arounder, but is a favorite for both the floor and high bar titles.
