Inside the Jail System

Law: Inside the jail system.

In jail, the inmates are forces to wake up early and thousands of these inmates are 18 years of age or younger. They have the one's who have no education whatsoever and prepare themselves to take the GED inside jail or by learning a trade.

Now, when people go to jail they feel and live like bums because it breaks their confidence down. Although, they do stupid stuff that will jeopardize their lives by robbing and stealing. However, some have impulsive behavior to a point where they don't listen and doing the same nonsense that will put them there to begin with. Some feel that they need to put all of that compulsive behavior behind them to make them better people.
When you're in jail, you're forced to eat the kinds of food that are given to you. Now, some of the inmates that are locked up that are convicted of arson which gives them at least a years prison term and some feel like killing themselves or give up to a point where they feel as if they don't belong in the system. Now, if you take a kid off the street and put him/her inside the jail system that's actually holding them back and slowing down their lives into what they're supposed to do with their lives because most of these kids are hardheaded to a point where they have to learn the hard way.
In jail, food is money and it means a lot to the inmates because they gamble everything and if you don't have these supplies, you get beat up, and some don't like to be told what to do so they have no choice, but to deal with it and all the nonsense that comes with it.
Some waste their whole lives going in and out of jail and never doing anything positive with their lives. So, they have no choice but to live their lives a certain way, which makes them slaves to their own kind because they're so used to living a certain way.
In prison, they search you and taking away all of your possessions and when you visit someone in prison, it's like you're the one behind bars because of the amount of drugs and contraband people bring into the jail system so they assume that you might sneak some in because a lot of people do that without thinking.

Now, most people in the system get out of jail and are reformed that are willing to change their lives around for the better so they create change, whereas the one's who continue to do the same thing to send them back to jail and some are afraid to go back just because of the flashbacks when they were in prison and gives them bad memories.
Remember: It's a horrible life behind bars and it doesn't get any better than this.
I mean, who really wants to be in a place where they have toilets in the same room that you sleep in? In jail, there's no freedom whatsoever, because you have to go to bed when they tell you to and you have to wake up, eat or shower when they tell you to. I mean, what kind of a life is that?

Inside the jail system, there's a lot of inmate violence such as riots and weapons such as shanks that are used to cut people and there are attacks on officers. Most of the time when inmates use violence against one another and they end up getting tied down to the bed and have shackles on their feet because of the amount of violent confrontations behind bars. Some of these dangerous confrontations basically happen when the inmates are extracted by the correction officers. Most of the time, this is a plan made by the inmates just so that they can get over on the officers which might even cost them to get a new charge. Now, some inmates usually have no family or friends to look out for them while incarcertaed. so they have to survive somehow, someway while juggling things.
Now, a days cigarettes are banned inside he system so smoking is not allowed. Although, there are jobs in jail or you could just learn something. Some choose to spend their time reading in the law library, just to kill time so they won't think about their sentence or just learn about their cases.
In jail: You have the gangs such as the bloods, crypts, Latin Kings, Muslims, and Arian Nations.

There are activities such as playing ball, and playing cards.
Drugs: In jail, drugs are rampant and the majority of the inmates get high easily because it's easier for the drugs to get inside the system. Some that went to jail has told me that they're scared to death going through the system which is a nightmare and people never really think about what they're doing until the cops throw those silver bracelets on you and you never know whether you're going home or to jail when you see the jusdge because going to jail is like a badge of honor and you have to be a fool going to jail these days.

Now, the people that get arrested and have to go to central booking really think that going to jail is a breeze when in all actuality, they really don't know what they're getting themselves into because they're only spending the night in that holiding cell and when you go to jail, you turn into a chameleon because you are forced to adapt to that environment.

Some say, it's like a night commercial and you have to just do the time and once you hit any system, it's hard to get out of and the odds are usually against them. When doing time, you get depressed with severe anxiety and jail is not a place that you would want to live and die in.
Now, the first time, inmates aren't used to the system and need a strong support system such as girlfriends and family on their side and before you go to prison, you have a lot of friends, but once you go to jail it's all over and you see who your real true friends are because people move on with their lives.

The people that go to jail that serve their time usually end up going back in because they really don't have anything to look forward to out in the real world because they don't have a real plan, because everything is foreign to them because they've been locked up for a long period of time and don't really know what's going on in the outside world and the ones that are confined usually dream that they're on the outside world and start to complain and say that jail is a place for losers and it's not the place to be because it's boring and the food is horrible and you only get a little bit of time to eat.

You end up going through nervousness and paranoia. Now, some learn how to do time and some can't. Whatever, the inmates go through in prison that get out usually say, that they pray that their children never end up doing time and it's really hard on their family because they feel that the person had a choice to live right, but chose different, and the one's who get into fights behind bars usually get sentenced to solitary confinement for at least 23 hours a day and tend to go crazy because of the confinement.
Please: I would lose my mind, if I was confined to a small room.

But once the inmates are released, they are subjected to report to a probation officer or a parole officer on the conditions of their release and must follow the guidelines and everything will be just fine throughout all of that and some aren't able to find suitable employment because it's like this: Most companies and businesses aren't looking to hire ex-cons and once you're in the system, and you get out, they expect you to go out and find work but it's a total different story that comes with all of that when looking for suitable employment and they say it's so easy. Now, some places call back if a position is available and some never call back and the one's who can't get a job turn to the streets to hustle and end up back in prison because that's all they know.

But did you know that: When you have a criminal record, you can get it sealed.

How do you do that? Well, basically if you've been to prison or have been on probation one in your lifetime and you finally get yourself together you go back to school to better yourself and earn a degree to become a professional, by doing this and making that move, the system will overlook that because you did what you were supposed to do to better yourself and your life so you won't go back to that lifestyle.
Now, most people with criminal records that can't get a job usually, start their own business because there is a way.

Always rememeber: Where there is a will, there is a way! but sometimes: the will doesn't go your way. "But you live and you learn."
But here's the thing, don't do things to get you locked up, but at the same time, you don't do things to get you there. However, you should always take responsibility for your own actions no matter what! No ifs, ands, or butts about it, and don't do things that willl get you caught up.

Know that : Life is a test of time and it's all about what you do and feel. But beware of the decisions that you make in life and the choices that you make and the actions that you take. If you do this, you'll never go to jail because jail is for the weak because as soon as you go there, there's no turning back.

Life is also a learning experience and with the shelter and food that you get behind bars all you have to do is worry about living because that's all you have is (nothing)!

Although, it's inhumane to commit a crime such as killing someone and any failure in society that people make would rather be locked up because they don't have to worry about working and paying taxes, and handling responsibilities.

VIP: But if you don't have an education and something to fall back on with a set plan and no hope for the future and you're out robbing and stealing, then you're bound to go to jail because you feel that you have nothing to lose.

Will you pick and choose?
